I successfully implemented policies and initiatives that promoted economic growth, improved infrastructure, and enhanced the quality of life for residents. I collaborated with community stakeholders and local businesses to foster partnerships and support local initiatives. Additionally, I effectively managed the town&#8217;s budget, prioritizing resources and making sound financial decisions. I maintained open lines of communication with residents, addressing their concerns and advocating for their needs. This aims to provide tuition-free college education for generations of New Mexicans.<\/li>\n<li>Secured $15,780,000 to assist in creating a Hot Shot Facility in Las Vegas, funding for EMS First Responders and state-of-the art animal shelters.<\/li>\n<li>$15 million for watershed and reforestation projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2023-2024 Legislative Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>Last two legislative sessions secured $290,718,005 for various infrastructure projects throughout Senate District 8, it specifically included $100 million for victims of Hermit\u2019s Peak\/Calf Canyon Fires and this years HB 77 (I was the Senate Sponsor) which secured $75 million for communities to gain access to federal matching fund for infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Leadership: Majority Party Caucus Chair &#8211;
